Quick meal ideas - baked sea bass with lemongrass and ginger

In today’s episode of quick meal ideas for the busy mum, I bring you a firm favourite of mine: baked sea bass with lemongrass and ginger. Let me assure you, this dish does not disappoint!

I first tasted this delight whilst visiting a close friend of mine during one of our gruelling board exam periods; and one day she decided to bring this one out of her recipe catalogue. What a treat it was! The lemongrass keeps this dish so fresh and light, and paired with the subtle taste of sea bass you simply can’t go wrong with this dish. I loved it so much I’ve been known to specifically ask for it by name whenever I get the chance. Even whilst pregnant I was still demanding that my friend come over to my house and make me this dish specifically - like I said, it really does not disappoint.

The recipe is courtesy of BBC GOOD FOOD, so I’ll just link it here and not bore you with duplicating it. My aforementioned friend only shared this link with me on request, so I can share it with you. Before now I simply called it “her sea bass recipe”! Ten minutes or less of preparation, into the oven for 25 minutes, and dinner’s ready. I promised you quick, and I fully intend to keep delivering. So here’s to another lovely one, and see you in the next instalment.
